Beethoven’s 7th string quartet (op. 59 no 1) “Razumovsky”. Named after the Russian ambassador to Vienna, this quartet in F Major is the first of three dedicated to the Russian ambassador. It is generally considered to be the mark of Beethoven’s middle period quartets. Performed by the Orford String Quartet.
